    poo pellets??!!

Marshmallow root is for uti's. Activated charcoal is for Montezuma's revenge. It neutralizes toxins. So it is useful for quite a few things.

    poo pellets??!!

    Around 1,000. Either the 960 or 1,000. I've not ever seen a 2,000.

    poo pellets??!!

Keep marshmallow root capsules on hand. I keep those and activated charcoal capsules on hand at all times. Marshmallow root will clear up a uti faster than anything prescription or over the counter. I'm a long time kidney patient with frequent uti's. I take 2 capsules as soon as I realize I...

Things to do to keep feeling "normal" while living out of your van?

I have Starlink so I can stare at my phone like 'normal' people from anywhere in north America 😉😁 I am not a people person but I enjoy observing and studying behavior.... especially in different cultures. Some people just need to interact with other people. The lockdown for covid was...

    Bought a shuttle bus!

I've had these before and I like them..... especially for the reason you mentioned. I can conserve water by reusing the last rinse for the next wash water. I can use less soap by controlling the amount of time the clothes soak and agitate. I've been looking at them in stores here and dang...

    Rocket stove and thermos cooking

That's a really good idea! I have an instant pot so when I think of a pressure cooker I think of it rather than a stovetop model. I could even use my rocket stove for that

    Rocket stove and thermos cooking

Yes basically. A simple example: When I make my breakfast I go ahead and bring raw rice to a bool for 3-5 minutes. Then place it in a thermos and wrap it in a towel. It acts a but like a slow cooker. The heat and pressure continue to cook the rice. It can't burn. Then my rice is ready...

    Bought a shuttle bus!

It isn't yet. The mechanic took too long to get it ready. I physically handle heat because of my medications. So I had to leave Texas for the summer. I will be heading back in a couple of weeks to get the bus ready and head out. Currently in Mexico and going to pick a few things up for the...

    Roll around kitchen

Try looking for the plateau of Mexico. Down below the state of Chihuahua in the central area of Mexico is an elevated plateau. That's where most of the cities are because the weather is mild year around. Unfortunately..... that's where most of the cities are....which also means that's where...

    Roll around kitchen

It doesn't. The mechanic had my bus for over a month and it got too hot to stay in Texas any longer. I'm traveling around the highlands of Mexico up where it's cool enough to breathe! I'll go pick up my bus next fall once the temperatures are under triple digits and try again.

    OREGON '23...............Postcards from the Road

I hit send too quickly. I've seen this fella advertising everywhere. The way he words things it makes it seem like it is free or very inexpensive. After seeing what the folks I'm referring to were charged to park in an open field ....I feel I need to give a heads up

    OREGON '23...............Postcards from the Road

I did not. There is one just down the road from me. Someone was talking about it in a local skoolie forum and the amount they were charged for a single night of boondocking was excessive. That's why I said be sure and check before you go.

How much water do you use for showers?- survey

I use the same set up. I need to sit through at least part of my shower. Pop up shower tent and a plastic stool. I have several like this. The one with my fan on it happened to be easy to snap a picture of. I bought these in Mexico but there ought to be something similar on the north side...

    ATV as your other vehicle

But can you lean in the twisties? I've had folks suggest a trike but if I can't lean in the curves I might as well have 4 wheels and air conditioning 😉😂

I have such a lightweight build that I could add several of these and still not be as heavy as the average gutted and built in bus. Also I have the Ford 7.3L turbo diesel 😁

How much water do you use for showers?- survey

Currently I use a usb rechargeable camping shower and a 5 gallon bucket. I'm not trying to be particularly conserving. 2.5-3 gallons of water. I have long hair. When I was in my camper van with a tiny water tank that I was trying to stretch I used a gallon to a gallon and a half. Had more...

    Roll around kitchen

Home depot had a sale and I went in a little different direction. I may still have the wire cart onboard for my ingredients and moving various things around but I am really excited about this big boy 😍 The bottom drawers are deep and I should be able to fit all of my pots and pans in it. This...
