I like those ideas. Depending on the size of the whole, I have found super glue and baking soda to work too. But since it's on a verticle service, the epoxy would be the best bet.

Another issue for you to consider is........most places (hospitals and such) might only accept original documents or certified hard copies. So if you ended up in a hospital in AZ and your person lived in MA.......there could be a delay in mailing.....a delay that could become an deadly issue...

I'm with John, the cost of the two cars would not be a good long term fix. You should figure out the cost of driving the second car and put that money in the back for such an ocassion. Or perhaps apply for a credit card that would only be used in such cases. I am a traveler, not full timer...

In Nebraska, the taxes on an RV are less than if it were a van.......nearly 1/2. I ended up registering it as a van.

I just got back from a trip to the Florida Keys. I arrived at a camp site that was very over loaded, no place to set up camp or plug in, around 10:00 PM. The camp site was located on an military base, but there were no guards checking IDs.....apparently a military designated camping location...

You might try to find some information about the neighberhood you are staying in. I went to a national park last year and the site told me not to park in certain areas because of the high incident rate of break ins while people were hiking.

Break-in's are done when the opportunity exists. I have read or watched videos where people try to "trick" people into avoiding their vehicles. Such as.....marking their tires with paint to make it look like the police are watching this vehicle. Have a light come on and off using timers, or...

I tried to register my van as an RV but was denied because everything in my van could be removed easily. Nebraska requires the fixtures (stove, sink, and bed) to be permanently mounted.
