Camp Host position in a minivan?

I worked for American Land & Leisure last year. It was a short season, but enough to get a taste. My location was very remote and they didn’t mind that I was in a van. Paid minimum wage but easiest job I ever had with great surroundings and friendly campers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bob's most recent youTube

I really enjoyed this video and wish I had see it last year. Been on the road full time for almost a year. Learned a lot of valuable information and am still learning. Went through my “emergency” fund for the wrong reasons too soon, but took a camp hosting job this summer and will prob work in Q...

Day 1 of being a nomad newbie

Hope travels are going well. What type of rig do you have? I have been on the road since January, almost 10 months. I have yet to sleep at Walmart, but do like Love’s Truckstop as a quick overnight option. Free campsites.net has been my source for locating good campsites, but once I’m in the...

How to Survive and Find Income

I just finished my first camp hosting job. It was in a beautiful spot and parts of it were awesome. Learned a lot for next year and plan to do it again next year. Weekdays not as busy, but I liked having people around, in moderation! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, I tried for two days up at A1 mountain Rd....

I haven’t posted in awhile, but thought I’d share some of my experiences. Been full time since Jan 2018. There are both good and bad parts. The best part is the scenery I see all the time in my travels and the great friends I’ve made along the way. I prefer to camp with friends but have spent...

    Building Hank

Hey I must have missed something too! I have been out of the loop for a while. But I assume Hank is not the drive you had at the last RTR. Hope you and the yotes are well. Bella says woof! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Poo keeping for 1 / 2 weeks?

I use a small plastic bag for poo, when done I tie it off and put it into a doggie poo bag which is also tied off, this goes in my trash bag for regular disposal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Recommendations for First Camper Van + Share Your Story

I have a Safari that I bought because I felt it was a good reliable vehicle, and it has been. BUT, I would pay good money for more length and the ability to stand. Also, I am still making modifications and the bed is very important. The worse part is when you are stuck inside for days due to the...

    Van Essential: Going potty

Hey there coyote girl! I have a love hate relationship with my luggable loo. Don’t know if it’s the bucket or loo, but I had trouble getting the lid off. I found a smaller pail that a 4 gal bag fits, and I sit it inside of the bigger one. I have made numerous attempts at girly pee devices, but...

    Nevada Residency

Something to consider, does your insurance carrier require a physical address. I thought I read they would. For them only, using my daughters address here in Vegas. Also the Las Vegas DMV has what they call Dash Pass. You can sign up on line for an appointment and they have several locations.
