    I know what you are talking about...SO when I did my van build I put in a diesel heater that slows down and also put in a roof vent and a electric thermostat controlled power to the fan cost 145 all together rather then the Maxxat 295 or so!

    depends where but for my sis at least if they raised the amount she got in SSI then the food stamps went down by same or more lol we used to laugh about that the net extra was usually about 50 cents to a dollar more!

    I guess in my monthly budget I include repairs, propane for cooking and heating, netflixs is free on my phone plan but Prime is 10 a month but even taking just your expenses... food 300 phone 100 65 ins for cars, fuel about 200 a month $55 a month rent for park $4 every 2 weeks for truck to come...

    My sister who got $761 a month SSi when she was alive did get food stamps in AZ $16 a month...not sure that I could make it on that but maybe you can....there is also the cost of heating, repairs oil changes tires etc etc

    Assuming no repairs at all which is never the case ie tires, oil changes plus breakdowns I have found are the major part of unexpected costs which are totally expected in some ways just never sure when they will happen!

    yEP..THE ONLY THING i FOUND IS THAT ONE HAS TO SET THE TIMER ever SINGLE TIME YOU WANT TO USE IT oops sorry...pain in the rear that is...some have actually made a real timer but t was way beyond my abilities or budget lol

    I saw that they were pretty cheap over Mexico way..did you put in a 110 or 220 version? Hee I run the AC ll night too in summer then I have to run generator at night costs me About 5 bucks each day so the cost would be even cheaper for that down there!

    My suggestion if you can find where to park for free or much cheaper then parks is get a diesel heater..will keep a van warm or HOT if you wish.I use one 5k model to keep my 30 foot 5er nice and warm down to 27 or so much cheaper then propane no danger of fires and no humidity either
