How do u live on $700/month, truly?

I deleted a series of posts for being off-topic or political. I know there are a lot more that fit that description but the moderators don't have time right now to go through the entire thread. The thread has become very far off the original topic. I think straightening it out to include posts...

    Shingles

The risk of getting shingles from a Covid shot is minuscule - less than .1% when compared to people who didn't get vaccinated- according to this study of over 1 million people. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35470920/

Campground, BLM, and National Park Apps

This is a useful one that I recently started using to make sure we're on public land when boondocking. I haven't used the map to find camping yet but I did a quick review and many dispersed camping areas and public campgrounds where we've stayed are not on the map so it probably needs more work...

Campground, BLM, and National Park Apps

I like Campendium because it's so easy to use and very comprehensive. https://www.campendium.com/ but I also use freecampsites good for free spots and reviews that may differ from the ones on campendium and iOverlander good for spots that may not be approved camping spots but okay in a pinch

Need help planning to buy truck and Rv

Welcome to the forum Davsey! Used travel trailers, if they have not been maintained properly, often have water damage and issues with mold. Some new travel trailers are poorly constructed and will need to be repaired right off the lot. Due to these problems and the issues you both have with...

Colorado US Forest Service - Leadville and Salida Ranger Districts - Request for comment

There are a few long-term campgrounds in the Eastern Sierra of California. The cost is higher than the Arizona LTVAs but it's still a good option. https://www.blm.gov/press-release/long-term-camping-opportunities-available-eastern-sierra

    We're getting ready again

If you go as far south as Yuma you'll find fields of winter crops - lettuce, baby greens, cauliflower, broccoli, herbs, root vegetables, and kales. Across the border in Algodones, street vendors sell asparagus and fresh shrimp from the Sea of Cortez.

newer website with a lot of boondocking info

I'm always looking for new resources on boondocking and stumbled on this one today: https://www.boondockersbible.com/ There's so much information on the site with links to everything. I've read through some of it and while I don't agree with the opinions on all of the stuff most of it seems to...

    Campground Deals/Discounts/Passes Discussion:

You're right bullfrog! I was looking at the National Park website. If you order one online there's a $10 processing fee but if go see bullfrog's wife or any of the other dedicated workers and volunteers at the national parks and recreation areas you can get one for free. Good deal!

The New Mexico state park pass is very good but the Access Pass is definitely worth buying. It's only $10 for a lifetime pass and works for all of these agencies.
