    help figuring out solar

Sounds real good but understand in the real world you'll probably get 500 to 600 watts. The panels are rated at full watts in a lab which is not the same in the field, plus panels laying flat lose another 15% or so. So many things affect solar.

Just a good 12 volt battery charger, I use one from Harbor Freight and it works well. You can spend hundreds on one, but I didn't care too. The gen usually comes with a 12v charging cord, but I don't recommend it on expensive batteries

I have a question.... 800 watts for a computer power supply? Did you mean 80-watts instead? I'd put a watt meter on it and see exactly what it is using.

The way better deal in my opinion is two 6-volt golf cart battery's from Sam's for $89 each. Tie them together to make 12-volts and you'll have a very reliable battery source for many years to come, if you treat them nice...

Another Minnesnowtan done with the pains of winter.

Welcome to the forum, it's really good to have you here. I've had a dream since I was a young kid to head to MN to do some fishing in a small, backwoods lake. Now, since I'm an old guy I hope to make the trip this next summer. I just need a real connection on where to go to camp and fish. Have...

What can be powered with a solar portable power station?

No way I would spend $3000 for a device that would not even generate it's own power.

What can be powered with a solar portable power station?

I'd put my money into a solar system with a couple of batteries, or at least an inverter generator. You get what you pay for in the long run...

Van life on a private lot, no dwelling no hookup. Legal challenges?

First thing I would do is to install a legal septic system.
