    Step Van length?

My Kubmaster is 12 ft. not including the seats. I took out the folding rear doors and have framed it in. Lots of room, to work with far fewer rattles. Plenty of power, and drives well. Should be finished by late spring to put on the road. Great vehicles to convert in my opinion, but then again I...

    Affordable Tires

I appreciate all the feedback and info. Kind of what I thought I would get from the post. I guess I need to open up the wallet and put some good shoes on the old girl. Thanks for all the replies!

    Affordable Tires

I need to replace atleast 4 of 6 tires on my Kurbmaster before next spring. The size is LT 235 85 16. I have looked at prices online and local and they are not cheap. Any ideas, and could I run used or retreads on the rear duals? Thanks for any ideas.

Box truck? Step van? Commercial registration?

I have a 1990 Kurbmaster and have driven it for 7 years. Once you become familiar with its quirks, it really becomes easy to drive. I am totally redoing it as a camper for short trips and fishing expeditions. I agree with others about the mileage, but overall comfort is great. Just wish I had...

    Parallax 7400

Thanks for all the advice on this subject. I can see where saving a few bucks now will be costing bigger bucks in the future. I will look for something currently marketed and do the install.

    Parallax 7400

If I only use it as a converter to run 12 volt devices on shore power and used A battery charger for the battery bank to charge would I be ok?

    Parallax 7400

I have found a new Parallax Power Supply model # 7430 and a fuse box at a really good price. This being older technology is it ok to use in my 1990 Kurbmaster build? I posted this in the wrong forum thread before I realized it. Yes I am a Newbie and slowly catching on. Thanks!

    Hello All

I have found a brand new Parallax 5400 converter and a separate fuse panel to use on my build. Under $100.00 for both. I am wondering if anybody has experience with this brand and model? I believe the technology might be old, but the price seems great compared to others I have seen Patrick46 I...

    Hello All

Hello Patrick46, The Kurbmaster has a 350 Chevy V8 and is on a P30 chassis. The interior is 14' and had a garage door on the back. I have owned it for 9 years, and used it previously to sell ice cream. I love the truck, and am excited about the project. I have experience with DIY in that I...

    Hello All

I am a recently retired schoolteacher that has been planning on building an RV out of my 1980 Kurbmaster for two years. Lots of research and planning, but not a lot of knowledge about RV's. Handy with DIY, not afraid of making mistakes, and eager to learn. When finished this vehicle will be used...
