    Important Documents

Eventually I will scan in copies of those and some other things, and keep in dropbox or someplace with even better encryption.

    Verizon has acquired Millenicom customers

Verizon is also discontinuing the ability to do an AOL ("assumption of liability") of an unlimited data plan, this coming Thursday the 13th, not sure if that's the last day you can or the first day you can't. Glad we got one a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have to deal with the MIllenicom thing...

    Vandwellers; Lazy or Wise?

Looking forward to being on the road soon where we can mostly ignore it, except when dashing into a town for groceries!

should I buy this Class C

We bought an older (1982) Tioga from clueless friends a few months ago. About the same mileage as the one you are looking it, and we paid a friends' price of $2800. They were honest with us that they hadn't done anything to it, and we've had to do a lot, including replacing various things...

Is planning and wanting to live in a van normal thought?

In my family as I grew up, the word normal was usually said with a slight turn of the lip, as in, "Yeah, he's a nice guy but he's so normal." Guess I still tend to favor the edges!

    Mexico??

Safety in numbers is a great idea! We're meeting friends in NM about then or I'd be tempted.

    Mexico??

We've gone both ways several times, though it's been 6 years since we were there. Far more Americans, campgrounds, etc, on the west coast. but the wonderful warmth and hospitality of the Mexican people we found everywhere!

    Mexico??

I've done a lot of RV travel and boondocking in Mexico. It's very different from here, in so many ways. There aren't nearly as many campgrounds and RV parks, for one thing. There is a guidebook by Mike and Terri Church that Amazon probably has, don't know if it's been updated. Here's a website...

Running a Computer Off a Battery

Definitely go for a laptop rather than a desk top and monitor! It will take up WAY less space, be much more likely to survive the bounces of travel, and you'll be able to go into a coffee shop or library with it... I know this isn't what you asked but it's also going use way less power than a...

I'm deep into the Verizon process, but others may want to research this! Thanks.

Cheap Verizon Unlimited Data plans on Ebay

Certainly could happen. OTOH, there's a good chance they'd have to give people holding the plans the option to drop Verizon w/o paying the termination fees.

Cheap Verizon Unlimited Data plans on Ebay

Ah, just posted a new thread about how I'm doing this. Didn't see yours! Yesterday when I bought the plan, I only saw more expensive ones on ebay. Anyone who does this, be sure you get a 4g plan.

    Verizon Unlimited Data Plans

We're in the process of getting an unlimited data plan (UDP) from Verizon. It's a bit complicated but it's going to cost us less than the other options, it seems. It involves taking over a UDP from someone else who has one. I was about to sign us up for Millenicom when it stopped offering plans...

Ok now under 50 degrees (f). Starting to feel it! (vents, thermal underwear)

I love reflectix for any rig. We just finished making reflectix panels for every window in our rv. The most important one is probably the windshield one! Also have curtains.
