While camping in the desert , we decided we wanted some more light to either put fuel in the generator if needed & play scrabble outdoors or if someone creeped up a light would come on. So harbor freight has this 60 led motion sensor light for 26 bucks with the coupon.  mounted it today along...

Sounds good to me as well, wife and I are planning this one, just not sure of the days we will be out... She has a couple doctor apt. and I as well. So pencil us in~!

Thanks John61ct.  It did fine today , so all is good , now maybe you can ease my mind on this, I have a 100 ah agm currently but Wednesday I will have another one in parallel so a total of 200 AH,    would this 150 amp isolator be too small?  that just came to my thought process. thanks

My other question about using the Battery doctor or any other isolator is this...my agm battery says not to have a charging current of more than 20 AMPS. How can I find an easy way to find out the exact amount of current going to the aux. battery or would that be something I really dont need to...

Battery doctor installed, had to get a 100 amp resettable  fuse/circuit breaker and pic of the second 100 W panel. My other 100 AH battery is due in Wednesday.

I bought the UB121000 agm battery about 2-3 weeks ago and last night I saw the price was lowered to 145.99 Amazon so I ordered another, So if some one needs another battery I think this is a good price. and free shipping...

Thanks Rick!   No need for the dicor, no holes drilled into the roof at all. I use VHB tape by 3m . I have used it on my last campers with some panels. Will post more pics tomorrow of other goodies.  lol

2002 Chevy Suburban 4x4  now coined "Campurban"  Started with 1 renogy 100 watt panel and a UB121000 agm battery, as of today it has another 100 watt panel HQST 100-d panel exact same specs as the renogy 100-d panels  but for 30 dollars less. Also installed the battery doctor battery isolator so...

My main concern is since there will be a load constant load on the house /aux battery while driving would be the strain on the alternator and the battery doctor since it would possibly switching back and forth a lot or just keeping the alternator putting out current most of the time. Hope that...

I was just browsing the web, it was not this particular unit  the battery doctor but battery isolator in general . I did  not save it , I was doing searches about them and found it, so I can not give a location as to where I found that write up.

I currently have 200 watts of renogy panels , 12 volt system, a 100 ah agm/sla battery.   Now  here is the question ....I have just picked up a Battery doctor 140 amp battery isolator to use with this set up on my 2002 suburban. I will have a pretty constant load on the aux battery with fridge...
