Dumping Waste, Bags or Composting Waste

i don't agree that diapers are similar to vanners dumping bags of poo in dumpsters.... diapers generally go into...stix and brix garbage cans or dumpsters.. not some dumpster you run across in some town in god noes where... i really wouldn't blame people getting really pissed (no pun intended)...

Dumping Waste, Bags or Composting Waste

i just feel there's a big difference between the two. people dump dog poop bags in my garbage once in a while. i don't mind. if someone dumped a bag of a couple three four five days of human waste in my garbage can ..... with sawdust filler, or urine.......... that would piss (no pun intended)...

Dumping Waste, Bags or Composting Waste

I'm not on the road either, yet. All I can think of is basically the plastic bag thing with maybe sawdust, etc. Then disposal is a problem. I can't really think dumping that Inm a dumpster is acceptable..,, do people actually do that? Without getting shot at? All I've come up with is...

Anyone ever get a shoulder injury getting in and out of van? (especially women?)

I noticed this person hasn't responded at all,.... and the last entry on these forums was this op. Oh well. I'll chime in since I'm a softie. Get your shoulder examined by a shoulder guy, not a gp. Get it taken care of. Don't use your shoulder the way you've been over using it since you...

HELP: Condensation Problem & still very cold living inside my Truck Camper shell

i'm in this same boat (looking into insulation). one guy on a post just jammed his polyiso in between ribs, members, etc - and i guess it stays put. but it squeaks... i'll have to try the aluminum tape, among other options (like the squeaky one). in terms of heat and condensation, no one has...

The Forum is Being Sold to Group Builder

thanks bob, for doing this all these years. if it weren't for you and your work, i doubt i'd be even where i am now (stuck in stix and brix, but still fighting to get out 'there'). as someone who has trouble with long windedness (i'm on the autistic spectrum, and have communication issues), i'll...

calling china for warranties or support???

as i recall, will prowse thought the epever terminals were nice and beefy, but the victron was cheesy... i maybe be wrong on my recollection of what he said about the victron, but i think that's right...  i'll continue to follow the practice of connecting battery first. a battery that is full is...

calling china for warranties or support???

that reeks........ it should be in BIG PRINT.  their instructions don't sound very clear.  if it makes you feel any better, i hooked my battery up backwards to my epever controller, of course by accident. but before i even corrected that, i remembered that their manual said there was protection...

calling china for warranties or support???

glad it worked out for you, jbent. i kind of wonder how many other people just write off the cost of product if support seems so far away and maybe hard to get...  wow - and you went back to renogy, after they were no help....

calling china for warranties or support???

that seems like a good basic video. he's the guy, isn't he, who buys all sorts of batteries on the super cheap from china and puts them together somehow...  glad you got your issues resolved with good support from a chinese company. sorry - don't mean to be anti-chinese. it's just that their...

calling china for warranties or support???

hi yall i've got an epever controller and a dokio set of portable panels. i got them, but felt since both companies were based in china, that phone support might be hard to come by. so i nhave never tried - i am not even sure how to call china.... just wondering if people have had positive...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

TY tx2...  yeah, i'm just looking for a way to get a basic value of whether a panel itself, alone, is probably 'good' or not.... sounds like the voltage and current short circuit values are reasonable, and convenient, start points. this is assuming abundant sun --- we're talking, noon, panel...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

yes, there are a lot of solar panel testing examples on the internet... my OP was really about what your link says to do. i was just questioning because people, here, at least how i was interpreting it, were saying i needed a load to test my panels. also, in another thread, one person said...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

hi jonyjoe i don't think i have voltage drop... using 10 gauge marine wire, 20' round trip  panels to controller... i'm careful to have a secure connection in the epever terminals, which are pretty sturdy. i'm using romex copper wire for the controller to battery --- it's just for temporary...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

any thoughts on this article? it seems to say it's ok, and useful info, to get the current flow of shorted panels... that's exactly ---  i think --- what i've been trying to do... and had people say that that is a bad idea...     but i don't follow much of the rest of this article over my...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

hi jonyjoe i actually have battleborne.  it's frustrating trying to guess what my controller, an mppt, is conjuring for my battery... i'd really like to just know how much my panels can put out right at midday, facing the sun, etc. etc... seems hard to do. so that leaves baby sitting my...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

idk what you're asking,....  these are my first panels. i liked that they were portable and had a lot of power... in theory. my epever doesn't seem to match the settings you're saying --- i have the Tracer Bn series...

anyone happy with their dokio portable panels? i'm not...

here are the specs --- i think...  i tried shorting the panels, as i said, in full sun... i do not get over double digits in amps. also people seem to say that shorting panels, as i'm doing with a short piece of wire, is a dumb-*ss thing to do................ there are four panels. it's a...

"200 watts" of solar doesn't seem to generate anywhere near 200W, is this just normal

my understanding is the way to test the maximum amount of current a panel can produce is to basically short the positive and negative terminals.  you can do this with a MM, or a clamp meter......... with the panel in direct full sun.   see below... How do you test a solar panel current...
