Immediate (almost) Advice Needed - Cell

We have the Samsung Galaxy S8+ so I think we just need a SIM card. I am not sure how that changes things. Right now I do not like my phone because I don't like Bixby and some other things. Will that change with Verizon and a new SIM?

Immediate (almost) Advice Needed - Cell

I googled postpaid. I would want to pay upfront and regular I think. I won't yet rule it out though as I'm trying to look at several options as I learn.

Immediate (almost) Advice Needed - Cell

I would like unlimited talk, text and data I think. Isn't this what I would want if uploading a lot of videos and sending a lot of texts, using a lot of web browsing?

    Is AARP Worth It?

I am so sorry I ever gave them my name, worse yet went with one of their "recommendations."

Woodburning Stove Great But LEG Caution

It was. I thought I might ruin it as I experimented with basting it with pineapple juice, chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce and some orgainic black berry/pomegranate spread. But it tasted great. I got it a bit black and almost lost it (I think I caught the save on video). Wayne came home, saw...

Immediate (almost) Advice Needed - Cell

Thanks - that was exactly what I needed to know. I will make sure we get the mobile hotspot. Anyone have comments on current phone choices, like, dislike?

    Teardrop and small trailers reviews

Look at the CCC number - this is the amount of cargo you can carry. When we were looking at small trailers to tow this is what stopped us from buying one. By the time we added water and food there wasn't much room for anything else and since we are planning on living in it for our 2-year...

Immediate (almost) Advice Needed - Cell

Hi.  I know there is a ton of info here that I should read but don't have the time.  I really thought I would do that before my phone plan would be ending but you know, there was a trailer to build. I am getting rid of Sprint as I dislike so very many things about them and their service and...

    Interest in Pemmican or Suet??

Are there any folks that have an interest in either pemmican or suet rendering?  If so, your thoughts?

    Is there any chef's here?

I am not a "Chef" but love to cook. We will cook for ourselves and sometimes friends at camp only. Our 7' x 16' cargo trailer is nearing completion. We put in a stainless steel sink/counter (IKEA) and had a propane shop put in food-truck propane tubing inside and out. We are bringing 3...

    Mental Health Thread

Sometimes no means no. There are forums out there for all kinds of topics. This forum is for the nomadic lifestyle and there are valid reasons for avoiding medical advice. Just find a different forum that does explore what you want. This forum simply cannot be all things to all people...

Hubby As Of Now Officially Retired!!!

I am glad we stayed with it but it was hard. I've been disabled since 2007 but quit work 2009 on disability. Part of our adventure is the creating the cargo trailer. I worry about so many people thinking they will live off YouTube. Good for he ones who have ways to survive outside of that...

Woodburning Stove Great But LEG Caution

I just bbq'd a cornish game hen and made fried potatoes. Good lunch.

Woodburning Stove Great But LEG Caution

Yes, for a van it would be overkill.  No matter what, I wouldn't want to use the BBQ indoors.  For my cargo trailer and with the cart on wheels it will work great for taking in and out using the ramp, I'll cook outdoors.  It is a good stove for tents designed for tentstoves, there is usually...

Arizona has lots of land to boondock on - but water and shopping are often far away

I had to unsub from him because every TITLE was NEGATIVE, let alone the video. He was ruining my day before I watched. At first I thought he was so positive. His Aliner burnt down and he just picked himself up and built the camper shell, awesome. But then everything went negative. I hope he...

    Hard Times

If you can't afford the Skoolie consider another vehicle. I know Bob plans to have a process soon for those asking for help but it isn't up and running yet. Start with what you can do. I have an autistic nephew. He's awesome and has held several jobs and even has his own apartment. He's...
