What is this part, 1997 Class B Dodge?

Thanks gsfish and ballenxj. I knew somebody here could tell me. That's certainly what it looks like. I have no idea how old it is. Looks rusty. Now to ask myself if I want to change it to a solenoid or to live with it as is.

What is this part, 1997 Class B Dodge?

While studying the house battery system and trying to find if I have a solenoid, I see this under the engine battery (yellow arrow).  Anybody know what it is?  It will save me from having to lift the battery out.  I followed the cables back and took photos of where they were going.  I couldn't...

Hard Panels, Flexible Panels, or Suitcase?

The backyard where I park the van is mostly shady and spouse is on me to not drive on the grass. So to keep the batteries in fine shape I'll park in a grassless area and run the panels to the only sunlit area.

Hard Panels, Flexible Panels, or Suitcase?

There's a curve in the front which looks very aerodynamic.  Then the sides don't go straight up.  They cut in 90 degrees for almost a foot before going vertical.  From the inside it looks like about two feet of width.

Hard Panels, Flexible Panels, or Suitcase?

I want to install 200 watts of solar on a 17' high top class b van. The only flat surfaces on the roof have been taken up with two roof fans.  So it looks like I'm forced to go with portable panels.   The van already has a 12v battery under the bed which powers lights, refrigerator, 12v outlet...

Don't know what I don't know about the desert

Tweezers to take all the goatheads and such out of your dog's paws. I was using my fingers but darn if the dog jerks I get stuck too. My dog's paws are really tough from walking on rocks and such so they will hold the foot up for a couple of steps then drop it back down. Basically they get...

Don't know what I don't know about the desert

Securely close up anything you put under your rig. Nothing like unzipping a bag in the van and having critters crawl out of it.

    any dwellers in ehrenburg

I'm wondering how I'd meet people since I've always been an introvert on the outside looking in. Here's the options I've thought of... I'd have a list of folks I'd like to meet and I'd ask around. Put your crvl handle in big letters on your vehicle doors, drive around slowly and wave. I'd be...

No matter how much you like them -- or don't, you still need a quiet place for yourself. I've only had the van for three weeks and it's become my lounging spot.

Women Only: Power Tools [split from W-RTR]

Whatever you get keep it the same brand and voltage (like 18 or 20 etc) and you can switch batteries between multiple tools and have to keep only one charger. I like the dewalt brand.
