    Engel Refrigerator sale

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to pull down the happiness of this thread. I'll keep trying to get what I paid for. You guys gave me hope, thanks! Thing is, once I give them my order number, they always connect me with the same lady (who is nice, btw. I am mean nice and understanding... nothing going...

    Engel Refrigerator sale

Thanks John61CT! Yes, I placed my order directly on Engelcooler's homepage. I don't know about PrePaid or real CreditCard. It is "just" a credit card, and every month I pay in full what I spent with the card. I have no debt. I didn't know that I am a vandwelling youtube star :P

    Engel Refrigerator sale

I don't know what to do.  I ordered a fridge, and paid via credit card. The unit was paid - at least I see my card was charged. This was 7 days ago. Now, Engel emailed me and said their 3rd party vendor cannot guarantee my order. I replied to the email. No answer. So I called the next day and...

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

Thanks JimInDenver! Just tested again, in full sun without clouds covering the sun (1:50 PM). Test Result: 49.9 V (Voc), 9.80 A (Isc) Spec says 24.06 V (Voc), 9.77 A (Isc) Looks like Volts is double, and Amps is exceeded. Can this be considered "good"?

    Mattress ventilation?

Rolling Earthship's mattress was damp where it sat directly on top of a solid plywood (saw a youtube vid of him) After drilling holes and making the plywood look like swiss cheese, he said he no longer had any issues. Of course, I think he was in a climate where winter can be pretty cold. I...

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

I am still alive (sorry, the world isn't home :)  ). It was noon and it had very few clouds. I tested both panels, made sure there was no shading on the panel and I tilted them towards the sun. Panel 1 Test Result 23.2 V (Voc), 8.59 A (Isc) Spec says 24.06 V (Voc), 9.77 A (Isc) Panel 2: Test...

    WHAT KIND OF PERSON~~~

I have no words... But at least you'll have your road buddy back (the vent is also good against farts, I think)

    Positioning a Roof Vent/Fan?

I had a window seat in physics (if this has anything to do with physics)... but it is pretty obvious to me. Tried to visualize. [/URL] I plan on installing a floor vent which can be closed for driving (deck lids). I'll share pics when I get to that step...

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

OK thanks, no need then to extra open the junction box. Yes, the panels are new, but they came with some damage in the aluminum frame (see here). I will test this Saturday noon. The solar panel specs say Isc is 9.77 A. My voltmeter is a Etekcity MSR-R500 and it's max is 10 A... I hope I don't die.

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

OK, I guess this means do not connect the positive MC4 connector to the negative MC4 connector. I don't understand what you mean. You are the second person that says "no volts". My voltmeter was reading twenty point zero (20.0) volts at 7PM in the evening.  Good idea, just covering the solar...

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

So, are you saying that I have to connect the panel's positive and negative MC4 connectors together and then measure the Isc?

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

    1) What I read is that testing current/amps is more dangerous than testing volts. So, to avoid sparks and injuries, I was told to hide first, connect, and then turn into the sun. 2) You totally lost me here. Remember, I have no idea what I am doing here with this electrical stuff... I was...

How to test a Solar Panel before Installation

Hey y'all, I wanted to test my solar panels that have arrived. It was already 7 pm and a little cloudy. I am in SC. I know I should do it around noon, but I work and didn't want to wait till Saturday (but will test again on Saturday noon). From what I read, I want to test the Open Circuit...

Step 1: Need help choosing the right van for us

Welcome to the forum! Great that both of you share the same goal. Out of these three, I personally would start shooting the shit with the dodge owner to get the price down. Anything above $7000 and I go look at the Ford. I am not sure, but that one might NOT have the "common Ford spark plug...
