First day of good weather in a while ... made a lot of headway! Pod 2 is almost done. Solar roof racks are next. Batteries came today ... waiting on cables and lugs. After the solar goes up, it will be mostly interior work and a little fine finishing if time allows. If we get 99% functional...

Did a quick Google search using the model number [RNG-100D], didn't find any specific mention other than "impact resistant."  But, I'm not going to worry about it.  Seems like Renogy has a good reputation.  If I have issues I'll call them.  Thanks, John!  :)

These are Renogy 3RNG-100D ... doesn't look like glass to me.  I'm not concerned ... maybe naive ... ??

Well, it doesn't look like the description to me.  I'm with you, T2S, it looks like flexible panels put into an aluminum frame.  They're heavy like glass ... ??  They come with a 5 year warranty ... I can return them if they fail.

More like coyotes, scorpions and snakes ... and imagine the "oh my" as a blood curdling scream!  LOL!  :)

I have to say, that's pretty cool ... maybe if I had more talent ... and time.   But, I'm gunna be on the road for a long time ... I'm sure I'll learn and make improvements.  THANKS for the link ... very cool!  :)

Aye, repeatedly and recently.  ...and I haven't ruled canvas out for all the reasons you cite.  But, I feel like I've done a lot of insulation inside the trailer, and NOT insulating the pods just seems to render all that work moot.  ...and, my daughter feels more secure with hard walls...

Answer posted above ... :) I'm still figuring things out as I go, but the plan now is, yes, they will have hard, insulated walls that stow for travel and bolt in place while camped. Again, a work in progress design wise, but both inside and outside access. Sorry .. I can't NOT answer .. I'm in...
