    gunk/build up in flexible tubing

@highdesertranger - you can see from the pictures below where the gunk has kind of flaked off. I did purchase the flat surface, food grade stuff but that is great info concerning the grooved tubing. No sunlight hits my system. I get my water from either my parents house (well water) or the...

    gunk/build up in flexible tubing

I realize this sounds naive but is this standard practice amongst van dwellers? I've never read anywhere about regularly sanitizing flexible tubing/sink lines. You guys all do this?? I think I'm going to need to start fresh and buy new lines at this point and sanitize monthly from here on out..

    gunk/build up in flexible tubing

Has anyone had this happen?  I purchased food grade tubing and have only been using it for a few months and only with safe water.  There is this weird buildup inside of the tubing and it's kind of flaking off now...I noticed it because when I was filling a pot with water all of these flakes were...

my credit union won't finance a cargo van purchase..

Just wanted to check in and say that I did eventually find a loan through a local credit union and this was after a few rejections. My credit is okay but I do have a few dings that I think some banks were unwilling to overlook. I was actually approved for an RV loan through this credit union...

    Transit conversion with kids?

This is my conundrum as well.   I'm still in the middle of researching but RVtrek's suggestion makes sense.  That's the set up in my parents' Class B.   Isn't 10 old enough to sit in the front seat?  Then you could maybe add a jump seat in the cargo area for the 7 year old?   This was what I...

my credit union won't finance a cargo van purchase..

John61CT, I like the way you think, sir. I naively didn't realize that until I own my van outright, I am at my lender's mercy.  Silly me.

my credit union won't finance a cargo van purchase..

No. I will be trading in my current vehicle and putting no cash down. My plan is to move into the van full time thereby eliminating my rent payment.

my credit union won't finance a cargo van purchase..

..if my intention is to convert it. Hi all,  I was hoping my first post here would be a happier one but I was disappointed to receive this news yesterday from my credit union and was hoping for some feedback from you all.  Longish story short, I applied online for a loan, was approved, but the...
