    Complete trailers feedback?

    Yes, good looking trailers.

    6ft vs. 7ft

I've looked at the 8 1/2 foot wide trailers.  They have the same foot print as the 7 ft wide trailers: however; the side body panels extend out over the wheels, giving it so much more interior room.  BUT, all that box really limits any vision to the rear.  I wish they made, perhaps someone does...

    Flat top vs. round top

I don't know that I prefer the looks of a flat or round roof, but I'm 6'1" (and shrinking) and, from the ones I've been in, the flat roofs seem to be rather confining.  I believe a one piece metal roof, flat or round, would be the prefered choice.

    6ft vs. 7ft

Thanks for all the feed back.  I understand there are advantages and of course drawbacks with each size/configuration.  We do plan some back country trips.  I know from experience that some of those roads can be quite difficult to navigate.  We can't have it all, can we.

    6ft vs. 7ft

I haven't chosen my tow vehicle yet, but my plans are for at least a 3/4 ton van.

    6ft vs. 7ft

Greetings everyone.  We continue to consider the idea of a cargo trailer conversion.  One thing I'm wrestling with, is trailer width.  With a 6ft wide you're looking at an overall width of approximately 7 1/2 feet and with a 7ft the overall width of  approximately 8 1/2 feet.  The extra interior...

    Flat top vs. round top

Hello to everyone.  My first post.  We're considering the purchase of a cargo trailer for conversion purposes.  My question is regarding round top vs. flat top (usually v-nose) trailers.  There usually is a difference in enterior heights between the two types.  Outside of height difference, has...

Greetings, You're right.  One can work and and continue to earn a living, up to a point, and not sacrifice his social security benefits.  I've been a nurse for the last 20 years; it's time for change.  I do need an opportunity to clear my mind and regain clarity.  I have given consideration to...

Thanks for the welcome.  I've not yet decided on what I will need for a life on the run.  I want to keep things simple.  A coverted van would surely fit the bill, but a converted cargo trailer would give me a bit more room.  I'm 6'1" and being able to stand up inside whatever it is, would be a plus.

Greetings everyone.  New to the forum.  Been following Bob's youtube videos for a little while.  I can relate to much of what he's written and spoken about: "soul sucking jobs" etc.  I'm 63 and just retired, I think.  My hope is to get into the full time nomad life.  With the uncertain future of...
