    Been to México?

I’m Canadian. I lived in an ambulance for two years for health reasons. I flew to the US in November and lived in a Ford van. The pandemic has worsened and despite borders being open to Canadians returning home, we need to cross 72 hours after a negative test and we need to quarantine in an...

    Ford e250 Conversion Las Vegas

I have lived in a van for 2 years to do mold avoidance. I lived in an ambulance in the Yukon that I left behind when I flew to the US. I bought a Ford and set it up. I called it Harrison. Now that I’m leaving again, I’m selling it! I’m willing to go to New Mexico or Arizona to sell it. I’m near...

    Anyone use Bokashi?

I had the same thought. I don't eat avocado skins, avocado seeds, the stiff tip of broccoli stems, etc. But I do eat apple cores and cucumber peelings. I eat organic so the skins are healthy to eat and, in fact, the skin of a fruit often contains the most nutrients.

    Feeling found

Welcome. I also have MCS and also recently took the plunge. I bought a camper van and might pick up a 100% aluminum WeeRoll.

This is an old post, but I think it's a good idea. I would stay there part of the year if I could do month-to-month and if cell access had a strong signal.

Waste free lifestyle, what does it look like?

I live as waste-free as possible. According to most standards, I'm pretty extreme, but I know there's more I can do. Sometimes my health issues get in the way of what I can do and I accept that. But yes, you're definitely in the company of some others who live this way. P.S. a bum gum? Bwahaha...

    Anyone use Bokashi?

Feeding to a pig is a fabulous idea. There may actually be WWOOF hosts who have pigs and would welcome the food.

    Anyone use Bokashi?

I hope you're being silly because I'm not calling anyone a dummy. How Bokashi is done? Or how giving compost to a friend is done? ;) Compost piles are aerobic. That's why they need to be stirred. Bokashi is more of a fermentation process. You add the right amount of a "bran" formula that will...

    Anyone use Bokashi?

I am posting in the "Green" section because this is important to me. You don't know me, and you couldn't know this, so I will tell you. I've lived in some very extreme ways much of my adult life in order to have as minimal an impact on the environment as I can. Lived without a car and biked...

    Compostable waste

I had this idea, too. Someone told me it attracts wildlife, so I wasn't sure about it. Her words were, "Bears slurp those worms up". How do you keep it contained and prevent it from attracting wildlife? What do you do with it when it's ready to use?
