    My rig

I do the cooking and grilling. Pa is on the campfire and wood sawing detail. The windows are nice, but I do get condensation on the frames when its cold out and the glass is thermopanes. If I had to do it again (when the misses retires), I would most definitely build my own windows and door. I...

    My rig

I'm a lucky man who has an 83 yer old father who not only is not in diapers, but still rides his motorcycle. He has since purchased a teardrop and wished he knew about boondocking and dry camping on last year's trip to Alaska. The woodbox is made out of treated 2"x4"s, treated 3/4" plywood for...

    Windows for a Trailer

    My rig

This is my humble rig. I drove my 83 yer old father to Yellowknife (his bucket list) and boondocked the entire month of August. We did need to spend 3 nights in campgrounds. This is on the continental divide road in the norther rookies of Alberta. About 6000 miles and $937 fuel. Money well spent.

I didn't make it last January because of mechanical issue with my old diesel truck (Tuppence). I have a 6'x12' cargo trailer (the tin can) with solar. I did spend the month of March a few...

    Search & seizure legalities?

I just finished some update reading on Bob's blog page, pertaining to info when stopped by an officer. As for search & seizure legalities, what are the laws in regard to our campers or converted cargo trailers?

    Oy there, from NE Wisconsin.

Hello everyone, I have been gleaning some great info over the last few weeks. I ordered a new aluminum 6'x12' cargo trailer and will set it up as a stealth unit. It's maiden journey will be mid June. The  misses and I will be camping our way to Idaho and Utah for 5 weeks. We plan on doing...
