    Homemade high top example

I am with you on it being on the ugly side. He could have at least extended the front a little, to form a windshield sun visor.   Curious if that was for head room or storage?

    Headache's Mobile Money Pit

I love his garage area idea and the AC beeing mounted inside. I would not rebuild the 92 E4OD.  The  95 E4od's and above, got all the factory upgrades, the 94 got all but one. The computer wiring harness connector plug is a problem in switching to a newer year. If you can go to the 94 E4od ...

    The Bacon Van's Full Breakfast

Before you put any more money in it , since you mentioned frame rust. Check the frame where the gear box mounts up for stress cracks. If it has damage they do make a repair kit for it. This is a very common problem on old trucks, vans, and it is a critical life threatening one. I would put...

    The Bacon Van's Full Breakfast

The door handle uses a horse shoe or "C" type clip on the back side of the handle (about the thickness of a paper clip). You can pop it off with an ice pick or thin screwdriver.

    The Bacon Van's Full Breakfast

I would take it to the mechanic 400.00 is cheap. You taking a chance on an old AC hose blowing up on you. Make sure you check the U-joints and replace/grease them if needed.

    Conversion van running boards

I am planning on cutting the running boards off mine and leaving the flare part with a slot cut out on the flare to feed the brakes cool air. Something like this I think some states will require mud flaps if you remove them, but dont quote me on it. Seen many a Class C with overheated...

Buying land in Arizona or Nevada

Nope, that is not true plenty of landlocked parcels in Arizona. You must have a registered right of way easement. You can be denied access. That even applies to federal and state property, if the only access is through private land.

    Is stealth even worth it?

I would have to agree with Every Road Leads Home. I really never had a problem, even with LEO's. If they ask me to move I would move. It's never happen yet. People are fooling themselves thinking they are stealth camping. LEO's just run your plate's and can tell if you live in the area in...

    Fiberglass van body

Are you talking about the Unicell one piece fiberglass bodies? http://www.unicell.com/van-bodies/ I am assuming that it should be no problem, seeing as how the airport shuttle buses have windows installed and the bodies are fiberglass. I like the idea, especially for the weight/economy...

I send the link to a friend that rents out vehicles to movie studios. He said it did not look realistic enough for a movie. Go figure lol.
