    Showering at Campgrounds

One of the regrets of transitioning from the "steel pot" helmet to kevlar was losing the ability to take a bath out of my helmet. Just traveled from AZ to WA and back to ME over a month's time. Used truck stop showers the entire time. $15 for two every three or four days wasn't too objectionable.

"America the beautiful" pass. worth it for me?

As a veteran, you get your pass for free. It's been well worth it for me, I've visited 30+ national parks and monuments this year. At $20 to $35 a pop, it adds up. Not only that, it's a place to dispose of trash and get water, sometimes a place to shower. My only veteran benefit I've really used.

Has anyone ever put a treadmill inside a bus

Why not run on trails? Why does it have to be blacktop? By the way, my least favorite path is blacktop. Give me a nice gravel or grassy single track to run on any day. Married Couple Traveling Together in Separate Vans

My wife was just telling me about this I'm not sure if it's a hint or not? I'm thinking, in the future, to buy a van to tow our CTC. Park the CTC, drive the van around, sleep in it in parking lots, or wherever, and set up a more permanent camp with the CTC. Checked out the prices for new vans...

Too many people too close together *shudders* Really, I'm and extrovert, I like people, truly, I do. Cool event. I probably should try to meet people at these events and let my introvert wife regain her energy.

    PSA - Participant Beware

I became much happier after I quit watching national news. The world isn't that bad of a place.

    Forming an Intentional Community/split

Human nature is the problem. Some people follow, some people lead, some people control and take advantage of others. Some are lazy, some are dumb, some are smart. Some people just want to be left alone and live their own life. Some people seek spirituality, some people live to serve others. Its...
