Well, debating on which one and paycheck.
146K on a 350 Chevy? From a used car lot? That's one I'd be very, VERY wary of. Hire a reputable mechanic to look at that before you go tossing money at it. If that's the original engine in a work van it could be real close to life's end. -

advice on purchase
There was a reference to a spark plug problem on the Ford V-10 here, and I wanted to pass on the info a mechanic friend gave me: the plugs are VERY easy to cross-thread when putting them in. Get it wrong and the head will have to be taken off and repaired. There may be other problems with the...
