I forgot to report that I bought the Lenovo used on Amazon for a little less than $400.

I have a Lenovo laptop for that duty. It draws about 10 Watts when the battery is fully charged. I use a USB Type C charging cable that connects directly to a USB DC charging port (rated for 100W) on my Bluetti.

We were in SD this September. We really enjoyed the Crazy Horse Monument. Quite impressive that the will of only a few can create an ongoing project of this magnitude and longevity.

Has any taken this scenic route west toward Wall, SD? It adds time to the trip but might be worth it scenery wise. Otherwise I would take I90.

Carla618, thanks for all the Iowa tips. I have been reading through many of them. Seems most are electric only sites. I don't reall need that for my minivan but I'll keep looking though Allstay.

By day #3 I can be in the areas between Davenport and Souix City, IA traveling on I-80. There seem to be quite a few county parks to choose from but am wondering if anyone has stayed in this area and recommend one to me.
