Containers inside and although it wasnt in the tutorial I got heavy grade tarp to line it. If some moisture does happen to get through, this type has moisture-wick so if it works like my moisture wicking clothes, should be alright if I air it out now and then if necessary Sent from my SM-N920T...

Its all good. Thanks. Turns out it was all working fine.. Mr. Trebor English went through it with me. It was all the fault of the thermo-cooler which I now understand the anti-thermocooler sentiment. It just takes way too much power even if power is free. Im actually sitting in the drivers seat...

Practical Self Defense For Everyone (including you)

Optimistic, I think I should clarify... I only wear that at times when I have to walk to a bathroom or something alone at night or similar situations. Its all I have, besides the scratching kick screaming, to get myself that open to run. When I just HAVE to go this way or that. Other than that...

Yes, both batteries read same voltage. I tested each on its own, and together as a positive on one and negative on the other. There was no sun today but there will be tomorrow. But even without sun, the isolater should keep it up, right? I got a new multimeter and the read from the isolater is...

Practical Self Defense For Everyone (including you)

My self defense plan, so far... besides kick biting screaming... is I keep a wristlet/bracelt sorta thing that I attach a razor to... So even.if the person catches me off guard or frightens me, I wouldnt drop it and can hopefully catch myself and my senses, simply grab the little razor dangling...

    Starting in my car

New Jersey. I cheated with the freezing during the Winter and got a hotel during the blizzard when I was newly fulltiming. Now, I have electricity and am running a fan and fridge to help not die from the heat. But, Im still unsure of my system. I did it entirely on my own without any experience...

I have another Question.. Im getting 12.6 reading all day from my batteries now. Both hooked up. 12.6 readings with an hour or so difference with the fridge plugged in. But its the same readings with the Van on or off. Shouldn't it be higher with the van on? I tested the reading with Positive on...

Both battery and isolater have grounds. Charge controller has a negative that goes directly to the battery, but nothign specific to grounding to the frame. There is a tiny little 1"x2" meter with the shunt. 100amps.

    Charging Batteries Without Solar

I don't know about a maintainer, but I wanted to ask if you considered an isolater or something similar to charge your batteries. I was a bit discouraged thinking it would be difficult, but it was rather easy... considering I had no experience whatsoever... then you don't have to keep...
