Mentioned we are interested in a truck hauling a rv to minimize exposure to mold and chemistry

Wife got 80k inheritance plus another30 k possibly coming from estate

Is this a good deal for a truck

49k asking price

Thank you

What's the year, make, model, trim? Your above description of TRKS R isn't a RAM model that makes sense to me (I work for marketing at a dealership group so see various vehicles all day long). I can't tell you if it's a good deal or not (because right now any deal is really not a good deal because of the market) but can let you know how it prices out compared to similar cars we are selling for a comparison...

Did you make a typo in that thread title?

Maybe it was actually supposed to be TRX R?

Don't think there is a TRX R... Just 1500 TRX. But depending on what will be towed a 1500 may not be enough truck for the load.

Assuming it IS a Ram TRX, yeah, the rule of thumb is that the more crap and bling and farkles, bells, and whistles that are added by the factory or the dealer, the less the truck can actually tow. And that includes, 4WD.

2022 Ram TRX, 1000 made = ~$78,000 (Edmunds)
Lots of stuff you don't need for a tug. A show off truck IMO.
- Extra wide fenders, special hood, grill; not standard Ram parts
- 8" wider track, not standard, wider axles or wheel spacers?
- supercharged engine, expensive stuff to break. Why did they switch to turbocharged in '23?
- 18" wheels, tire availability?
- what tx2sturgis said.

2022 Ram 2500 Tradesman = ~ $48,000
2022 Ram Power Wagon = ~ $64,000

Unless you're in a huge rush, I would wait for the market to come down more. It's come down, but not as far as it will.

If you can wait. The deals will come to you as the market corrects for the last few years of crazy.

Very odd post. Who announces publicly how much money they are receiving and asks if a vehicle is a good deal but provides basically no info on vehicle?

Beware: I would not tow any RV with a half ton truck, but I'm real old school too.

Sorry I met a Dodge Ram Warlock 2022 asking price 45k to haul a 30 ft Jayco Jflight rv weighing 5-6500 pounds

My wife has 63k inheritance left

And possible an additional 40-80k from her father's estate possibly sold by end of summer

Looking for a truck and Rv

Would like to visit her family in Indiana,Ga,FL

Thank you

If I'm right it's a 1500 which is 1/2 ton. I'd get a 1 ton which will do the job with ease. I had a 1/2 ton dodge 2WD gas that got under 15mpg empty, then a 1 ton 4x4 diesel that got 24mpg & just over 20mpg hauling/towing 20,000+ pounds from Dayton.

We're just getting started

Does anyone have any suggestions on truck models that can hall a 30 ft trailer ?

has 63k in heritance and possibly 40-80k in estates from portion of Inherisnce coming later in the summer

My wife like the toilet space of the Jayco trailers [she weigjhs 290] so needs something spacious she's comfortable in

Sensitive to mold like me

She has disability and herniated disc so needs everything on one level And needs ramp installed

Climbing into spaces is problematic due to degenerative disc and herniated discs

She says things may improve overtime if she loses weight

Thank you
