Those are mighty fancy duds for a Western man to be wearing. Must be one of those Eastern, city slicker, card sharks. Can’t trust a man who looks like that. Just saying, if you see him hanging around Pirate Camp keep your money (if you have any) in your pocket and do not bet it on on the cards.

Rain? That just means a no cost, free labor, Solar panel wash !!!🙂

Got part of my last build project done today. I have 2 yards of marine vinyl that is for my trailer’s headliner. The other day in the Quartzsite newspaper I saw a notice that a quilting group meets on Tuesday morning at the senior center and has big cutting tables setup. So I went there today and took advantage of that to layout all the cut lines onto the vinyl. My ceiling is not just one big flat area. There is the popup section towards the back and the forward area has built into the fiberglass rounded, foam filled roof support beams arranged in a T shape. A literal pain in the neck project to fit and glue up the headliner. But today was a pain in my back to lay all those cut lines out on the roll of vinyl.

But a possible bonus, to my senior center quilting group visit. a woman in the group is interested in buying my vintage Bernina sewing machine. I only have one canvas work project left to do on it so it will be available as soon as I get back to Quartzsite in February.

I will have to get a helper to help install
the headliner when I get around to glueing it in place with contact cement. Maybe that will happen in February, maybe not. I do have a potential helper but too far out date wise to know for sure if she can help. It sure will look nice when that project is finished and feel great to check it off the to-do list.

Rain has now arrived, how much and for how long.. yet to be determined. 🌧

Rained enough to do several wash and rinse cycles on my solar panel. There is even an actual puddle of standing water on the ground in this area.

I have to cut some cardstock kits today, humidity can mess that up, so I will wait a few hours before I try that so that the sun might have removed some of the moisture from the air.

Heading south soon, a friend from the forum I have met here and camped with at YARC last year, shared some pin drops of places he has camped in the area I want ti explore. It is nice not having to fly blind looking for campsites when towing a setup with moderate versus high ground clearance. Friends are a treasure including those I have met in Pirate Camp :)

I was about 11ish when I learned how to sew on a Bernina in Jr. High sewing class. Tough as nails in those days. Not sure about now.

I apologize to everyone for being absent Christmas day. We are battling colds. Looks like it was a good time. We're still in town and haven't traveled down 95 yet. Leaving Fri morning to go back to reality. /le sigh

If I don't see you in town happy new year to you.

Jason I meant to tell you how delish that chocolate/orange cheesecake was. Don’t suppose there was any left… if not I will offer to be the personal taste tester of the next batch!
