Hi I'm new here... I've had my cargo van since '14 and travel in it 6 months a year. I have this vision of through hiking the AT or PCT and other scenic trails with a couple van people who want to hike and taxi too. Is anyone interested? I'm doing the Florida trail in January

If you haven't found anyone yet, you could try youtube. I follow a couple campers who took a break from RV type vids to document their hikes. One on AT and one on PCT.

I might see you in Florida, if you stop by Ocean Pond Campground, like some on that trail do.

I visited with three fine young men doing just that this past January, while I was at the campground and they were passing thru, and fed them a pot of soup I’d made the day before.

Said soup was hogging my small refrigerator, in need of hungry young men, and there they were. ☺️

Were I younger, I might have hiked with them awhile.

Reddit, or subreddit, named "ultralight" may be a good place to look.

...I saw the thread title and thought that someone was tired of having vans breakdown and having to hike a lot.
