Tomorrow I need to replace a USB port in the morning.............

We have rear seats to pull from a Nissan................

Mid-October we have a van to insulate and install a floor

and still a broken sunvisor......................................later

OK the USB port needs parts..............Needs a fancy 4-gang household stye hub........Home Depot will order ($32)
It comes in a BLACK Ram Van HiTop Conversion..............It's mounted at the floor level.........Looks like cord-tugging !

Group Dinner tonight.............SOS with Baked Potato and Broccoli

All are Welcome

Baby Toast Theme Song ?................................Headache......We finally bought an electric TOASTER !

NO more BlackenedBread........Perfect every time............."BabyToast"................

I bravely ventured forth to the Mail/Messages to pickup the packages that are the makings of a sun shade. It was a hot 15 miles... thankfully the ebike makes it doable in this heat.....

Right, at the 3rd pole,
that's where we are,
not too close,
not too far.

With an Arrr and Yo Ho!
and a trip to the sto'
find the right part
and go with the flow

7:30 am, Baja Benny again
waking those that ain't woke,
those that are up, sip on their cup
and start the day with a smoke.

It's hard to view the photos of IAN's destruction in the State of Florida...............It's HOME............Thinking of You

Prayers for a safe recovery

Using email, I contacted a friend of mine and asked how (and if) he came thru the hurricane, He is a full-time live-aboard on a 37 foot sailboat, currently in a marina in Jacksonville Florida.

I had also sent pics of the motorcycle I have been working on and restored to operation recently.

Here is a partial screen grab of the reply from Jeff in Jacksonville:

World Central Kitchen (Chef Andre's outfit) is on the ground in Florida (Ian) and Puerto Rico (Fiona).
They get a good rating from Charity Navigator.
One good option in case anyone's got an extra nickel and is inclined to toss it in the pot.

I'm curious, what is pirate camp? it seems to be like HOWA, but more of a community gathering. I've spent several winters in Pahrump, but sadly an old friend has passed. Last year after a few months with covid, I had to get out of the wet, cold Washington coast. Met several amazing people in Quartzite, & New Mexico.

Pirate camp is a place where Doug gets his power tools out and creates solutions to problems and a damn fine meal. People stop by for a day or a week or two to get their fix of sawdust and laughter.

You must like animals and be willing to help out.

So (asking for next year) do you have to be mechanically skilled to help out?

Thanks for asking Mortimer.........sorry for your loss..............Yes Community !
