I want to replace my old (quite rusty) bolts with new ones before I put down my subfloor, but I can't find anyone selling them online. I found one set of 4 on ebay for $60, which seems crazy for four bolts. Does anyone know where I can track these down? I would like them to be new so they stand up over time.

Thanks.

Is there something special about the bolts? If not, I don't see why you couldn't find the same size replacements at a HW store. Home Depot has a good selection.

All I know is they're rubberized to prevent rusting (it doesn't seem to work because the ones in my van were basically disintegrating). I'm wondering if it would invalidate an insurance claim if I didn't have OEM bolts.

I would not stick just any bolt from a hardware store in there.  These are probably hardened bolts (not sure though).  Check the head of the bolt for radial lines.  How many lines is what hardness it is.  Once put through the floor a can of spray paint (Rustoleum?) should seal them.  My 2 cents......

I would get OEM bolts, go to a Ford dealer and get the part number and price. then do a search for that part number. if you can't find them for a decent price then you will need to make a decision.

BTW this is for anybody buying factory parts form a dealer, when you are talking to the parts guy have a conversation with them, BS with them a little. make sure you always ask them "are you giving me the good guy price or are you charging me full retail". most part guys would rather make a smaller commission then no commission. highdesertranger

Personally, I would do what HDR said but if money was that tight.........  YMMV

I had to pick them up for an inflated price on ebay because they're on backorder from ford.

Unless you're putting the seats back in to carry passengers, it doesn't really matter what bolts you use.
