Through some unfortunate events I was forced to leave my home and live in van. I had been anticipating this for a few weeks and completely converted my Dodge Caravan into a home. First day and it's starting to get dark. It's a little lonely but I'm just glad to have a place. I'm camping in the Sierra National Forest pretty much a good distance from everyone else. Looking forward to what this life brings. I'm ready for a new adventure.

Thank you Carla! I look forward to making friends here.

Welcome to the forum... the group camping will begin again next October thru probably April.

Stay in touch.... and join us every Tuesday night in our live chat room.

Welcome to the Van Living Forum ! :) And a new way of living more with less while allowing you to travel and get a new perspective with new opportunities. This forum will be one of your greatest assets in that adjustment. Below are a couple of links to websites of mine. The "edjautoservices" link is to a portal of info you may find handy in your adjustment. It's all free and the kind of stuff I wished I'd had when I was first starting out. (that's why I put it together for others to benefit from) All the best !

Wow how very kind of you! I am not seeing the links...any information and tips would be greatly appreciated. My first night I slept like a rock! The temperature got down to 41 as i am at 7000 feet but with plenty of layers I stayed warm through the night. I am up and making coffee. Planning on doing some fishing soon. Thank you so much friend!

Im using my tablet/keyboard now and dont see the signature liines either. The link is the bottom link below if you can see it.

Hey Rambler.... I love to go fishing, please keep some notes of your good fishing spots so we can go back later. smile

If you click on your avatar in the yellow line atop the page you will get a box with menu. Select Preferences and then go down to Content Options where you will see a box about Signature Lines. Check that box and you will then be able to see the links below their post. Many of us link to things that are helpful. ;)

Absolutely will do! Thus is my first time fishing this area. I'm more used to the Kings River. Love to fish Bass! I'm excited to explore the Sierra National Forest Lakes!

Welcome Rambler! Enjoy it, and remember, you don't need to rush life along. Take you time and enjoy. And please DO join the chat on Tuesday nights.
