...just geared for "us". Tiny Homes has one! Or even an alternative lifestyle site. However, I am seeing a growing number of couples that have met on YouTube
actually!

I am just so envious of these couples who travel together and can make their relationships work in such small quarters. It would naturally either tear you apart or bring you closer together.

I am on Youtube but I have no videos that my employer could start raising eyebrows to, but if they just looked at my "Viewed History" and Comments to VD videos, they'd know what I was up to.

Some are saying just do what you love, show your passions on YouTube and eventually the right folks will find you and hopefully one will be "up your alley" BONUS! YouTube is FREE. Dating sites are crazy expensive and all you get are polished profiles and terrible photos. (Ladies, am I right? What is with guys default photo with sunglasses and a hat - we can't see you dood!)

Hmm... well I better go doll myself up, put the girls in their highchair and start making videos!

One of the most critical points that Mr. Wells forgot to make note of in his most recent East vs. West blog is that Southwest Florida in the winter months is a garden of Eden, where Adam has died and Eve is left with the fine house with the lanai that has the hot tub that flows into the swimming pool and the 30 foot boat in the canal on a lift in the backyard and a late model luxury sedan in the garage.

This is where MrLooRead comes to the rescue of Eve and provides companionship for these lonely damsels in distress. Plus they are all real lookers because it takes money to maintain a beauty regiment.

We all have freedom of movement in this country so choose carefully when making a decision on where you want to live.

Haha! Guess LOL is like my cousin. She always said she was going to marry a guy with one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel.

Well,in the condos on Pensacola Beach, there's quite a few that are in their 60s and some in their 50s.

I just hate to have to bring up the east vs. west debate, but if you want to snuggle up to a Saguaro or even a pipe organ if that’s your preference, but I still prefer to spend the winter in Florida.

So anyway........ back to ME now.

Alligator lovin

I met my wife at a vandweller get together (GTG) in Alabama the spring of 2016.

Would be nice to have a travel companion but would prefer she has her own rig at least in the beginning. 
Planning on traveling to Quarzsite AZ in mid to late December from Florida. Anyone ready??? Bob and Susan will be there in Jan/Feb to meet everyone who makes the trip.

There is a dating thread here (Matters of the heart) but it seems like nobody is tripping over themselves to date or find a partner.

Nomads are a rather solitary bunch when it comes to dating,
but quite social when it's about meeting and traveling together for a while.

I think a dating site could work, but it may be wise not to identify so much as a CRVL function.  It may be better to diversify so that if anything really  horrible happened in that arena it wouldn't place all
Van Nomads  (or any other cheap RVer's) in general in a bad light.  Many national brands have multiples
trade names of their product used to market in geographic areas or to market segments.

Example:  McCormick seasonings is used east of the Mississippi river and west it is sold as Schillings.

I agree.  Florida has a town called Frostproof and any area below that town is said to never have cold enough weather in the winter for frost to form.



I like the area between Pensacola Fl and Tallahassee Fl myself.
I could have 5 states to travel and meet women in as well as shop in.
If I did an annual shopping trip I could have nearly nine states to
do the same in.

I found that having a couple good "wingmen" helps me with talking to women I am attracted to.

We as humans are gifted with five senses. (Logical) There is a sixth sense or even more, Intuition is a result of the other five. Judgment is also the result of the other five (I have a feeling)(This doesn't feel right )(This feels right). Since the add on "senses" are not logical, Risk is introduced, some would call it a gambling. Courage is another, venturing into a dark, unknown place, sticking your toe into the water so to speak. (Testing the water)(dating).
Younger people have an abundance of unfounded courage. Blind faith. Believing in those matters of heart without any or very little evidence to support that faith...….
We as humans grow older, we use non-replaceable assets. (time).
We apply the five senses to time. The result is experience.
In the USA The number of successful human "relationships" is less than one half over time. Among those that survive, some of those are failed in place until time expires, that is open for debate as to numbers.
Using our five senses plus experience should equal wisdom. Some advocate blind faith, a gamble on those things not in evidence to the five senses. (blind faith) (I believe). (I read a book therefore I believe)
Dating is the exploration of the unknown which allows time to apply wisdom acquired from past time and experience to the present, and over time to use judgment about the future.
Dating is an exploration. An exploration should be a rewarding experience. If not, explore some one else. You may find that you want to see and do more exploring where you are or, somewhere else.
In either case, all can be rewarding.
First, Look. and if you like what you see, then listen, when those meet your approval on to the next senses.
Remember that time is not endless, At some point you are risking the future.
Do you have the courage to explore? Do you have the courage to try the next unknown until you find the expectable vision that the future time will be well spent?
For me-- I will keep exploring knowing that time will run it's course. And then?
