Many chapters ago, I found myself daydreaming out my 10th-story office window. My 20+ years of medical training, certifications, and degrees had provided the desired result, so I thought. I had an office door to shut out distractions, my own receptionist, an ottoman, 2 computer screens, whatever I needed. I was the youngest in my specialized team of 5. A career in the corporate medical field had its perks. Every grain of my being, piece of moral fiber was tested. After resigning, my tiny family found purpose. We started living with intention, more is less, and learning life skills that I fear may become extinct. Four years in as nomads, and will never look back.
