    Aframe Campers at the RTR

I bought my Aliner new in February 2018. I went on the road in September that year. I go back to PA in the summer to catch up on medical and personal things, usually June to late September. Even at my home base, I I sleep in my Expedition. Aliners are advertised as "off-road", but they really...

    Any Northeast Nomads on Here

I'm from NWPA and have been in Q since early December. (5th season) As far as camping in the Scranton area, it will have to be state parks or the other methods you mentioned. The only National Forest in Pennsylvania is Allegheny National Forest and it is near Warren, PA on the west end of the...

Running CPAP on DC, need help

My CPAP cord has a brick that converts 120 volt AC to 12 volt DC. So I bought a cord from Amazon with the correct DC plug on the end and just made a 12 volt extension cord to go straight to it. The fuse is in the 12 volt plug. I have a ResMed dreamstation.

    Aframe Campers at the RTR

There is a page on Facebook called "Midwest Aframe repair and technical support..." It is a personal A-frame repair business and not a chat page. You can join and submit pictures and ask questions and he will answer. There is a lot of very helpful information there on how and where to get parts.

    Solar panel wiring

There are many places online with Solar Calculators. For a system that large you definitely need to use one of them. Also I'm pretty sure you will need more than one MPPT Charge Controller. This company is more for off grid sticks and bricks type installations. altE solar Calculator. I really...

    Solar power won't properly charge

Don't judge a concept by a single report. I'm sure Gnarledwolf will eventually find the help needed to get the system working. Educating yourself and experiencing the positive uses of solar which when designed and installed properly will perform admirably.

    Is public drinking water safe?

I think we all have our comfort zones & it's good to gather others thoughts and information. My experience is I will drink just about any water that comes from a city spigot, as long as the color, clarity & taste isn't too "off". If you hang around me long enough you will find that if a...
