Louisville, KY native and graduate of the University of Louisville with a BSBA majoring in Finance, and also attended graduate school at U of L studying modern European and American History. He served as a Board Member for The Council on Developmental Disabilities, chaired the Marketing and Fund Development Committee and has been a mentor in the Council's Faith in Action program since 2002. US Army veteran and an avid backpacker and wilderness advocate, he is currently working with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy to produce a series of educational videos about preventing and responding to Tick-Borne Diseases (TBD's).

After recovering from a long battle with chronic Lyme disease, in 2013 Logan combined his professional experience with his love of the outdoors and spent five months backpacking the 2,000+ mile Appalachian Trail to raise awareness of the fastest growing epidemic in America. In 2015 he completed a 4,100+ mile cross-country journey via foot and bicycle – a project he calls his Trek For Truth.
