I like to write. I have a degree in Anthropology. I'm married with two kids, son age 22 and daughter age 19. I homeschooled my son through 10th grade and my daughter through high school for purely educational and philosophical, not religious, reasons. My kids have been camping on Victoria Island but haven't been to Disneyland. We've pretty much dragged them from coast to coast, usually tent camping. I've been tent camping since I was 19 and I still love it.
My husband is an Aerospace Engineer and quite handy with tools (so am I!). He's watched many van and RV tours on YouTube with me and I can see the wheels turning in his head. I predict eventually when he's ready to travel, we'll be building our own rig.
For now, I would very much like to explore this lifestyle and escape the punishing heat of South Texas in the summers.
