I'm originally from the US (upstate NY) but have been interested in in rv and van life since coming across cheaprvliving on YouTube.
Actually my interest in this goes back a lot further when I read a book called "Freedom Road" which was about low cost living in an RV but as I recall it was also about living a simpler life.
I was also influenced by "Blue Highways" back in the 80's by William Least Heat Moon.
