Was living in Southern Oregon as a Park Host for the Forest Service for 8 years. I have family that lives in Salem, Ore. area and I let them talk me into moving closer to them. Being close to family has been wonderful and they are all very dear to my heart, but living in this area is not the place for me. Too many people, to much rain and dampness, it is like the pollen capital of the world here. Spending another winter here is not an option for me because ever since I moved to this area it has been difficult to breathe!!! So I am regrouping, putting together what will fit in my Toyota 4runner, acquire a small utility trailer to pull behind with my tent, stove, sleeping bags, etc, etc...and in October will be Arizona bound. I have lived in a tent before but never in the desert so I am looking forward to it and plus meeting other like minded people doing the same. So since I will be doing the tent thing it would be appreciated if you would contact me and let me know how you are doing with it and perhaps share ideas that we may have. I am traveling alone so making new friends would be an absolute plus!!!
