20 lbs Propane Tank in Box Truck Conversion with Wood Stove.

I think your best bet would be to mount it outside, even you have to re-do your setup, just so you can have peace of mind.  If you finagle your current setup, you may have that little thorn in your mind always nagging at you...  Different people have different risk tolerance, so if it will...

20 lbs Propane Tank in Box Truck Conversion with Wood Stove.

Propane Tanks are super safe. They only blow up in movies. Like cars always exploding after any crash... Mythbusters had a hell of a time trying to make a car explode - Hollywood Physics don't work in real life. I've been cooking with propane stoves most of my life - in houses, boats, camper...

Has anyone tried this trick for window fogging

I wish there was a "Tips and Tricks" forum thread... I came across this one and wonder if anyone has tried this already.  Window moisture is a big problem for van dwellers so when I saw this, I wanted to share it here. It looks like it should work, and it's cheap. ...

    Cheap, Easy, DIY raised roof.

Yes, I appreciate the write up very much. Just knowing that someone has done it, and says that it's not that hard to make is good info. I'm more visual, so although the. Can draw pretty good, I don't know if I could get the info into my brain clearly enough to then draw it, sadly. My build video:

    Useful Riv-Nut Tool info

I'm posting this here because I couldn't find a "Tools" category. - Mods, please move to the correct category please? I was looking to buy a new Rivet Tool when I came across this "Riv-Nut Tool" which I didn't know about... So I'm posting this here in case it's useful info for anyone else...

    Mice!

@USExplorer - Crap. Then you're best off getting a cat. I had rats in a house I lived in once. It was in the Caribbean where houses are open, so rats would come and go as they pleased. I got a kitten, and even though one of those rats could easily eat it, the smell of cat alone kept them away...

    Rust?

I saw this video about fixing rust damage that is very good. Vandwelers can apply these techniques to different types of rust problems. You can do what he does on the inside of the wheel well for large rust holes under or inside the vehicle where beauty is not required, and the outside...

Your opinions on this van please?

I'm going to purchase a new van hopefully soon and I will set it up with a hammock this time, since I also sleep in a hammock at my house instead of a bed. I think that if I can hang a hammock in my Grand Caravan minivan right now, I should be able to set it up in the new, bigger van. I plan...

Save water by not washing pans and plates

Haha! Great post. I once stopped dating a girl when she told me she didn't like pizza. I figured it was the tip of the iceberg of some deep dark mental issues! Who in their right mind doesn't like pizza?! Sent from my VS996 using Tapatalk

    Hammock instead of bed?

Someone had asked me how I would hang the hammock... I uploaded a video on how to hang a hammock inside my minivan. I believe it's a better method than the usual one where they use straps over the roof. Sent from my VS996 using Tapatalk

    Hammock instead of bed?

Haha. I didn't notice it was an old video. I'm not a full timer, but I've slept in the hammock in the minivan while car camping. I do sleep in a hammock at home every night though. I haven't found a cot that won't kill my back. If I don't sleep in a hammock I get horrible neck and back...
