My name is Patrick, a soon-to-be full time vandweller excited to become a part of the tribe!
I’m married, no kids. Was born, raised, and spent most of my life in Colorado and lived several places along the Front Range from Loveland to Colorado Springs. Moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 2009 for warm weather and to be near the ocean.
I’m a mid-career electrical engineer and have developed products ranging from automated theatrical lighting to medical devices. I love to design and build my own stuff ranging from standard home and landscaping projects to my own inventions created with custom electronics, software and 3D printed parts. I’ve had a blast building my own stealth van and enclosed trailer. I’ve been interested in solar power for years but never had a reason / opportunity to implement.
I have benefited so much from the information people have been willing to share here and on YouTube. I’m looking forward to giving back to the community I have gotten so much from already.
