Shops that are recommended are usually a lot better.  If you mention that someone pointed you there they will assume it's a local and probably take better care of you.  Bad reputations can sink or swim businesses unless they just screw everyone.

Waiting on pictures! I talked to someone who had one of those once.  I think he got rid of it due to the anemic engine in it.  Be careful on any steep inclines.
