Question for those whom are running small refrigerators, big cooler or two coolers

We have 2 Whynter frig/frzr.  One 60cu ft, other is 45cu ft.  Each uses 5 amps at whatever temp we set it. And no matter if it is freezer set or refrig set.  Have had them since 2013.  Work great.  Bought the bags that fit them just to, perhaps, help them insulation-wise.     :shy:

    Nissan NV2500/NV3500 CAUTION

BEWARE your NV can only be serviced at a few, specialized dealers.  In my state only a couple places.  So when traveling, beware.  I LOVE my van. But due to a recall I found the above to be quite true.

After my failure I am trying again.

Saw this video this morning about :  the Jackery Explorer 500 Inverter.  With the 15% off thru Bex this would only be $425.  Looks to be a good idea for your lack of Electric !

    Question about RTR Road... ??

@ Angelack... Thank you for your reply.  Only the road into the RTR camp area is my concern, and as Bob has said, these are one-way in/out roads. Also, they are the ones with the tree branches hanging.  Other roads driving around the countryside are no problem. I do this all the time. The more...

    Leaving Arkansas for RTR

Danny, you might want to go over through Camden to Hope to I-30, then hit I-20 west at Dallas-Ft Worth... then head down to I-10.  Better weather perhaps... I-40 could hit some snow in Amarillo area. We are in Conway area.  This is how we would travel to Quartzite at this time of year...  Hope...

    Question about RTR Road... ??

I, like many others, have solar on the top of my vehicle.  I am approximately 10' tall.   In videos posted there are two trees whose branches appear to be hanging down.  I do not want to scratch my solar panels, so, I would like to know the clearance height.  Anyone???? If I pull in and travel...

I have not taken photos (I should).  Do have a couple picks... The Air Tabs        Screens my Husband made for the front windows   (they are now painted white to weather proof them)     Also shows the wind deflectors.  So glad we added these.  They help when using the Fantastic Fan, as we can...

It has gone up, but don't remember how much.  You might check the website. We really wanted these because of the pull we used to get from big rigs.  Does not happen now...   :)

We have AirTabs    http://airtab.com/     on our van.   Unless you see the truck in your mirrors, you usually don't even know a truck is passing until you see him  next to you!   We have the hightop NV2500 Cargo Van.  Tall, and lots of side wall...

Windows or No Windows? Your preference?

Windows are really nice for allowing light.  But, 1/  harder to heat/cool    This has really become an obvious consideration as we spend a lot of time in our van. 2/  we have our beds/bunks filling one wall and our shower and cabinets filling the other wall. 3/  One of the back windows we...
