Born in Tampa, FL. Moved to CO as soon as I was old enough to get out on my own. Met husband who was in Army stationed there, globe-hopped courtesy of Uncle Sam for a bit before we moved to Pittsburgh area where he was from. Had 2 children. Built a successful construction company. Husband ran off with 26 yr old, left me with nothing. Lost house, car, etc. Worked 3 jobs sometimes to make ends meet until kids were grown and out of house. Went back to college, got 2 degrees, lived in 2005 Pontiac Sunfire many many times over those 5 years. Got job after graduation as Lab Assessor for AASHTO. Travel the country inspecting materials testing labs approx. 150-200 days a year. New (4/29/16) husband comes with me often. Want to get out of the rat race once we have enough $ saved. Currently living in 1996 Suburban at state parks and/or Wally World and/or at my work parking lot when feasible (rent is ridiculous here in MD). Counting the days. Love the nomad videos, been watching for years. I've learned so much, THANK YOU!
