Born and raised in Wisconsin. During college, my partner and I realized the trajectory of our lives would take us further and further into debt-slavery (and do very little to reduce our carbon footprint), so we downsized and ventured our little family to an off-grid community in North Carolina.

There, we learned living in a small space (288 sq ft, the three of us, one room) just meant we had to be more organized. We stopped buying -all the things-. We stopped eating processed foods. We continue to teach our son that everything and everyone are connected. Change yourself, and the world changes.

Currently, we're adventuring in our 1992 28' Coachmen Leprechaun.
