I wonder if a tea infuser would do the trick, or if the holes are too big and would let the coffee grounds out.
People have also been known to make coffee in the toe of a nylon stocking, right?
Well, whether you eventually take it to a garbage pail or a compost heap, putting it in the freezer means you don't have to immediately run out and put it there.
She definitely had the right idea with emptying a Hagan daz ice cream container lol.
PS I'm living in sticks and bricks but for the first time in my life I have to pay for my own garbage disposal. quite the awakening  It's a small place too so I'm having to learn to get creative. There's an empty stand-alone freezer in here, and that's where the dry garbage goes (in bags)...
OK thanks @CY-5th, just wanted to make sure before I said anything dumb(er).
What about ... one of those 5-gallon buckets with a gasket lid? <<<corrected after reading bullfrog: gamma lid.
(I don't know if any smaller buckets have that same type of lid.)
.... a container with a good closure from...
Excuse dumb question ... you're talking about for regular household garbage or for poop? Since you posted this in the personal hygiene section I assume you've already seen all the poop advice?
Carl Hiaassen, Stormy Weather.
I love his books (set in Florida) -- they're hysterically funny and the bad guys come to delightfully gory ends.
He's actually a reporter and has written a lot of nonfiction books too but I haven't read those.
Here's a New York Times opinion piece on homelessness --- "Criminalizing Homelessness Won't Make It Go Away" (mostly video with a brief text introduction)...
If you want someone to take your evidence seriously, here's one good way to go about it:
(1) The fact I want to share is _______.
(2) The source for this fact is ______ (and if you share a long video or report, point to the specific time in the video or page in the report).
(3) The reason I...
Aww don't do that! You could just put the people you can't learn from on Ignore.
Hopefully most people are 💡💡💡 enough to take the Chicken Little rants with a grain of salt.
Stick around, dude.
The unusual moment I'm referring to is more specific: the fact that the rise in interest rates has not, as expected (and as it usually does), led to a recession. This is a specific unusual phenomenon, and one potential explanation for it is the input of migrant labor.
This explanation may or...
@rruff I think economists should be taken with a grain of salt, too. The article is not the final word from Mount Olympus but it is something to think about.
We are in an unusual moment, economically, and this is one credible explanation.
I doubt the influence of foreign labor on wages is quite...
Here's an Associated Press article dated yesterday (April 12) reporting that many economists believe that immigrants not only haven't harmed our economy, they've helped it -- for example by stepping in to fill jobs during the current labor shortage.
Remember all the worry, when the Fed raised...
True that. (Disagree on whether immigration is likely to be net (+) or (-) for those of us already here, but at least that's something you can make a reasonable case for/against and think constructive thoughts about, instead of blindly passing on random Chicken Little from Hell stuff.)
