Hi, I have GMC Yukon, I added large toolbox on a swing out hitch for more storage. It holds cooler and most stuff. Took out one rear seat for moving around area. Sleep area 24" by 60" platform with 7" of storage underneath.  Mistakes..... I can't sit up/ can pull up my pants after pooping in...

FYI: Biggest complaint for car and even some can dwellers including me,  can't sit up/ can't stand up/ try putting on your pants after pooping in a bucket when you can't stand. It sucks... GMC Yukon 4 months so far... Getting old fast.

Two things so not go together, tent and desert!  I am trying but on average many days with high winds.  At 17mph tent needs to be taken down or tied to the car. No fun! I have a 10x10 dome so I can stand up/ dress/ wash etc. Car camping in GMC Yukon SUV.
