For those seeking a little intellectual stimulation

I totally got it, I should of added a smiley to my "that's a horrible..."  My reply was a feeble attempt to make a strawman argument. By the way I'd never heard of the "Strawman" before and found the link informative and interesting. Thanks for starting this thread. You sir are a gaas...

For those seeking a little intellectual stimulation

That's a terrible suggestion.  If we simply find "mindless" people to argue with, we'll never hone our intellectual acumen.

    New Trailer: Hitch Hotel

It would be to heavy for compact cars that recommend a class 1 hitch only. This requires a class II hitch.

    New Trailer: Hitch Hotel

Too heavy???  I read the article. It weighs 240 lbs. empty.  In transit can carry 100 lbs of cargo with a class 2 hitch. Set up, the floor can support over 1000 lbs. I don't know if I'd want this but think this is a lot more versatile and easy than those car top campers. Hope they succeed...

Cost to install new a/c on Dodge Caravan

Hi GrayWhale, I have a Dodge Caravan that I just bought to get me through the next couple months while I figure out my van crash situation. How easy is it to apply leak seal and cans of refrigerant? This would be done by a 50/5 year old.  Fifty years old with 5 year old's mechanical ability. I...

    The crash

It's been over 2 months now, and I'm fine physically.  The insurance company used their stall tactics at first.  Took 3 weeks of phoning & emailing to get their estimate from the body shop they towed it to. They offered to pay me $7000.  This is a new van with 15,000 miles on it with the nice...

    The crash

The Crash I was driving north on Highway 5 When the machine gun carrying soldier motioned for me to stop and get out, I thought nothing of it.  I knew what he was going to ask-"Do you have any drugs or guns?"  I'd gotten used to armed men looking through my van. Mexico, I was going to miss...

    Dentist in Mexico near Yuma?

I was going to wait to post this, until I got a second opinion but will do it now and apologise later if needs be. I went to Franco Dental right near the border and saw DDS Evangelina Robles who cleaned my teeth.  After the cleaning she said I had 12 cavities, needed a crown replaced and wanted...
