I was born in Michigan and moved to Los Angeles after graduating from college. I worked there for 12 years and in 1992 went out on my first nomadic adventure. I meant to stay out for a year and my only plan was to see Alaska, but it was too fun and I stayed out for 4 years and went far beyond Alaska.
Since then I have traveled until I run out of money and then worked in whatever city I ended up in until I could afford to go on the road again. I've lived and worked in about a dozen states and have seen all 50 of them. I've been through about half of Canada and lived in Mexico / Central America for about 2 years. My vehicles have ranged from a Tercel to my current Astro Tiger GT.
When the pandemic lockdown started I decided it was time to retire and I have been a full timer ever since. This is a most wonderful way to live and I'm grateful every day.
