The single pouches are great. I took a look at some of the other "singles" type pouches. The flavored ones get pricey and you could add your own seasonings to any pouch. The chicken salad looked good, with no need to carry around all the ingredients.

When we have been camping we use Ziplock bags to make omelets in the morning. Always use the heavier freezer type bags with the double zip. Put 2 or 3 eggs in the bag. Add whatever goodies you want/have, squish it around and put it in a pan of boiling water. It takes about 10 minutes and you...

I use the ones you can put in the freezer, they are a bit thicker. Double zipper.

In a freezer type ZipLock baggie, put 3 eggs and whatever you want/have for an omelet. Boil a pot of water (use for bathing later), drop baggie into water. Wait about 10 minutes and you have an omelet. Use a paper plate. No pots, pans etc are dirty.

Fabri Tac is a specialty glue for fabric. It will hold really well. I think you will still need to be gentle pulling the Velcro apart. It does come in a small bottle so you can try it out before gluing everything...
