If you're refilling at home to prepare for a trip: placing the empty 1 pounders in the freezer prior to filling up makes them take more gas I've been told.

In a 3qt or 6 qt...EASILY. For others: when cooking beans use 1-2 tsp of oil and it will help prevent "froth" (and bean skins) from clogging vent.

If cooking beans....definitely soak them overnight. It reduces the cooking time greatly...ie pre-soaked pinto beans cook in 6 minutes, garbanzos on 8 1/2.

I've wondered if 4 people each bought an acre....and then did it again with 3 other adjoining acres....if you could then each live on "their" land for 100 days.........drive onto other acre, live 100 days....rinse and repeat forever (?)
