I was born and mostly raised in Texas, high school in Missouri, college in Kansas, served two years in the Army in West Germany before the wall came down, the rest in Nevada (3 years in Reno, the rest in Vegas). I always dreamed of retiring early, even if only semi-retired. I also always dreamed of visiting every state, and spending enough time in each to get a good idea of what it's like to live there. So I'm hitting the road for at least 4 years, long enough to spend at least a month in every state I haven't lived in, and hoping to find the place I'll eventually build my retirement cabin/bungalow. I'm looking forward to meeting interesting people, tasting some amazing food, and marveling at the sites along the way. I hope to meet you too!
