The store bought versions I’ve tried are not a real reduction, and have always tasted off to me, so we make our own. But reducin* the vinegar down is a very pungent task, best done outdoors in my opinion.
I use a balsamic reduction. That’s it, nothing else. As you reduce it, it gets so sweet , I never felt the need for anything else, though I imagine herbs, finely diced chives, maybe roasted garlic would be great.
I buy expensive linen shirts used on eBay - in the winter. They are cheap. I buy expensive wool clothes used on eBay - in the summer. They are cheap.
Rayon is not all natural, it is semi synthetic and made from chemicals
Rocinante is the name John Steinbeck gave to his truck and camper that he traveled the USA in with his dog. He subsequently published the book “ Travels With Charlie” about his journey. I’ve met about half a dozen old truck owners who’ve named their trucks the same. Me, I call my old truck “ my...
I bought a vintage shell for my 66 F250. It is tall enough and light enough, and am converting it into a quite capable vehicle. If I wouldn’t have been able to find what I wanted used, I’d have ordered a new one from these guys:

All my loads in the shell are going to be surface mount, as will be the wireway to feed them. I will have a surface mount cabinet for the fuse panel, with several 12 volt and USB ports, and a battery monitor mounted in it’s clear hinged door. Can anyone recommend which Alternator size would be...

Thank you, the Ford 3G 175 amp alternator does come with a grooved pulley for serpentine belt, but I can swap the trucks current two sheeve pulley over. If it does squeal, I will have to figure it out. Thank you.
I am an experienced truck camper, having previously owned -for about 20 years - a 1959 Ford with a tall shell similar to what we have now, with similar loads, and including an auxiliary battery. Just no solar. We use (seldom, not cold weather campers) a Olympian Wave 3 for heat, a Joolca on...
I am counting on keeping the coach, as well as starting batteries, charged while driving to the destination, so I will have to upgrade from the stock alternator as my first step. Thank you for that.
I am sold on the quality of BB vs others. I have the budget to use consensus best components, I have found that I regret buying anything but the best available. I‘m not pinching pennies. For the same reason, I will use Victron components, including their MPPT controller. At this point, expecting...
